everyone this is David Pike the Motor
00:00:12.449 00:00:12.459 City mechanic and I'm back with another
00:00:14.160 00:00:14.170 video today I'm going to show you how to
00:00:16.289 00:00:16.299 replace the old filter / old cooler
00:00:19.320 00:00:19.330 assembly on a 3.6 liter Pentastar engine
00:00:22.769 00:00:22.779 that you're going to find any dodge
00:00:24.540 00:00:24.550 charger Dodge Challenger and Chrysler
00:00:27.720 00:00:27.730 300 so make sure to check it out
00:00:30.680 00:00:30.690 [Music]
00:00:40.110 00:00:40.120 now the reason why we're replacing that
00:00:42.520 00:00:42.530 assembly is because we've got an old
00:00:44.140 00:00:44.150 leak we've got enough accumulation
00:00:46.480 00:00:46.490 between the cylinder heads in that
00:00:47.800 00:00:47.810 little Valley area that is starting to
00:00:49.900 00:00:49.910 work its way back and over the top of
00:00:51.820 00:00:51.830 the transmission and working its way
00:00:53.590 00:00:53.600 down to the bottom a lot of people look
00:00:56.200 00:00:56.210 at that and they think they've got a
00:00:57.610 00:00:57.620 rear main oil seal leaking but in this
00:00:59.800 00:00:59.810 case that's not what's causing the leak
00:01:02.530 00:01:02.540 it's got to do with the old filter
00:01:04.479 00:01:04.489 housing the most common year that you're
00:01:07.330 00:01:07.340 going to see this with is 2014 that's
00:01:10.480 00:01:10.490 when they went to the newer revised
00:01:12.490 00:01:12.500 assembly of course if being a revised
00:01:15.820 00:01:15.830 assembly it had its own new issues and
00:01:18.249 00:01:18.259 in this case it leaked all now they
00:01:20.740 00:01:20.750 sense them revised apart so when you get
00:01:23.050 00:01:23.060 apart from your local parts department
00:01:24.640 00:01:24.650 your local Dodge dealership you'll be ok
00:01:27.190 00:01:27.200 you won't have any more olek issues but
00:01:29.740 00:01:29.750 the original 2014's were known for
00:01:31.990 00:01:32.000 leaking and that's what the cases in
00:01:33.790 00:01:33.800 this issue now at some point during the
00:01:37.030 00:01:37.040 replacement of the oil filter /all or
00:01:39.190 00:01:39.200 simply you're going to need the drain
00:01:40.510 00:01:40.520 antifreeze you can either do it as the
00:01:42.609 00:01:42.619 first thing or you can wait all the way
00:01:44.560 00:01:44.570 up to right before you unbolt the
00:01:46.180 00:01:46.190 assembly
00:01:46.810 00:01:46.820 either way the antifreeze is going to
00:01:48.760 00:01:48.770 have to be drained so your drain is
00:01:51.040 00:01:51.050 going to be located on the right side of
00:01:53.800 00:01:53.810 the radiator at the bottom and you can
00:01:55.899 00:01:55.909 access it from up above or from down
00:01:57.580 00:01:57.590 below I'll show you what it looks like
00:01:59.880 00:01:59.890 now what I did is I drop the lower air
00:02:02.469 00:02:02.479 dam so I could get up in here and show
00:02:03.910 00:02:03.920 you where the radiator drain is on the
00:02:06.430 00:02:06.440 radiator this is the bottom right hand
00:02:08.949 00:02:08.959 corner see where I hear this little
00:02:10.750 00:02:10.760 finger right here that's what you're
00:02:12.190 00:02:12.200 going to grab ahold of you're going to
00:02:13.449 00:02:13.459 rotate counterclockwise to open it up
00:02:15.280 00:02:15.290 this hose right here is where the
00:02:16.840 00:02:16.850 coolant comes out now what I like to do
00:02:19.030 00:02:19.040 on vehicle especially ones at high
00:02:20.949 00:02:20.959 mileage I like to spray wd-40 up inside
00:02:24.850 00:02:24.860 the hose as far as I can get it mainly
00:02:27.880 00:02:27.890 to try to get something to come out
00:02:30.060 00:02:30.070 around the drain that way no the o-ring
00:02:33.729 00:02:33.739 on the drain inside isn't going to
00:02:36.370 00:02:36.380 possibly tear when I back it out now all
00:02:38.830 00:02:38.840 I got to do is put a catch pan up under
00:02:40.539 00:02:40.549 the vehicle and back that out
00:02:42.250 00:02:42.260 counterclockwise now when we go ahead
00:02:45.100 00:02:45.110 and open that radiator drain this is
00:02:47.289 00:02:47.299 going to be the location where the
00:02:48.460 00:02:48.470 antifreeze is going to come out
00:02:49.650 00:02:49.660 so whatever you do put your catch-can or
00:02:51.660 00:02:51.670 whatever you're doing you capture your
00:02:53.460 00:02:53.470 antifreeze directly below that but
00:02:55.320 00:02:55.330 there's a hole right here for the rubber
00:02:57.000 00:02:57.010 hose protrudes through that's when
00:02:58.830 00:02:58.840 antifreeze gonna be coming out usually
00:03:02.430 00:03:02.440 there's a plastic cover that covers up
00:03:04.410 00:03:04.420 the top half of the engine right here
00:03:05.880 00:03:05.890 got a little cutout right here for the
00:03:07.650 00:03:07.660 oil filter you can actually see a line
00:03:09.420 00:03:09.430 right here where it used to be this one
00:03:11.550 00:03:11.560 doesn't have it on it whoever worked on
00:03:13.320 00:03:13.330 it lasts more likely didn't put it back
00:03:14.970 00:03:14.980 on but usually you would see a plastic
00:03:17.010 00:03:17.020 cover sitting right on top of the engine
00:03:19.680 00:03:19.690 that you would just pick up and sit it
00:03:21.150 00:03:21.160 to the side now it does not matter if
00:03:24.120 00:03:24.130 you're doing the plugs the oil filter
00:03:26.100 00:03:26.110 housing or the oil pressure sending unit
00:03:28.320 00:03:28.330 whatever you do you're going to take off
00:03:30.510 00:03:30.520 all the following items the air inlet
00:03:33.540 00:03:33.550 that goes over here to the throttle body
00:03:35.130 00:03:35.140 it's going to need to come off and also
00:03:37.140 00:03:37.150 the upper intake with the upper intake
00:03:39.900 00:03:39.910 off you've got access to the spark plugs
00:03:42.240 00:03:42.250 but in order to get to the cooler
00:03:43.980 00:03:43.990 assembly you're going to have to take
00:03:45.330 00:03:45.340 the lower intake assembly off so what
00:03:48.480 00:03:48.490 we'll do is we'll start with getting the
00:03:50.010 00:03:50.020 air inlet off first now one thing I
00:03:53.490 00:03:53.500 prefer to do is to leave the upper air
00:03:56.130 00:03:56.140 filter lid attached to the air inlet
00:03:59.130 00:03:59.140 going to the throttle body you could
00:04:00.900 00:04:00.910 separate it right here where the
00:04:02.130 00:04:02.140 flexible joint is what I do is I go
00:04:04.500 00:04:04.510 around the perimeter I take the 3/8
00:04:06.150 00:04:06.160 millimeters off and I take the hose off
00:04:08.520 00:04:08.530 right here that leads back to one of the
00:04:10.110 00:04:10.120 valve covers and I leave this attached
00:04:11.910 00:04:11.920 to the aerial in it that way I pick it
00:04:13.590 00:04:13.600 up and got a little more room now the
00:04:25.140 00:04:25.150 hose get whatever you can to pry it off
00:04:27.060 00:04:27.070 you may have to rotate it slightly and
00:04:29.400 00:04:29.410 may just take a gentle motion like this
00:04:31.320 00:04:31.330 we go we've got that off now we pick up
00:04:34.409 00:04:34.419 on the front of the housing and now
00:04:36.510 00:04:36.520 we've got release now we'll move on
00:04:38.070 00:04:38.080 further down
00:04:39.440 00:04:39.450 have you follow their and let around to
00:04:41.600 00:04:41.610 the throttle body you'll see if there's
00:04:43.190 00:04:43.200 one hose clamp right here a larger one
00:04:45.380 00:04:45.390 you can get you a flat tip screwdriver
00:04:46.940 00:04:46.950 or an eight millimeter back at all and
00:04:51.110 00:04:51.120 what we're going to do now is we're
00:04:52.880 00:04:52.890 going to pick up on the front half is
00:04:54.740 00:04:54.750 there's a rubber bushing that sits on a
00:04:56.720 00:04:56.730 mount right here we don't want to break
00:04:58.490 00:04:58.500 it off so we just kind of wiggle it we
00:05:01.010 00:05:01.020 finally get it loose and we work on
00:05:03.740 00:05:03.750 getting it off the throttle body now we
00:05:05.810 00:05:05.820 got one connector back here we've got a
00:05:07.250 00:05:07.260 disconnect as for the air intake temp
00:05:10.490 00:05:10.500 sensor just squeezing on the lock and
00:05:12.740 00:05:12.750 pick it up and here's that rubber
00:05:14.630 00:05:14.640 bushing I was Tanya Bell and he lives
00:05:16.580 00:05:16.590 directly on a ball mount right here on
00:05:19.010 00:05:19.020 the right side valve cover when you go
00:05:22.160 00:05:22.170 back with it apply a little bit of
00:05:23.690 00:05:23.700 grease so when it lines up it easily
00:05:26.180 00:05:26.190 seats back in place now we pick it up
00:05:28.970 00:05:28.980 and set this off to the side now the
00:05:32.000 00:05:32.010 upper intake has a series of brackets
00:05:34.220 00:05:34.230 around the outside hold braces and keeps
00:05:36.860 00:05:36.870 it rigid stops it from flexing stops it
00:05:39.230 00:05:39.240 from cracking we've got two brackets
00:05:41.630 00:05:41.640 over here on the left side of the engine
00:05:43.310 00:05:43.320 that are attached with two ten
00:05:45.710 00:05:45.720 millimeter nuts that will be taken off
00:05:47.540 00:05:47.550 and also back here behind where the
00:05:49.580 00:05:49.590 throttle body is on the backside of this
00:05:51.140 00:05:51.150 intake we've got another bracket now
00:05:53.990 00:05:54.000 that's got a studded bolt and also two
00:05:57.020 00:05:57.030 nuts that we'll be taking off so we'll
00:05:58.820 00:05:58.830 go ahead and start with the two ten
00:06:00.290 00:06:00.300 millimeters over here and then we'll
00:06:01.730 00:06:01.740 move over to those shortly afterwards
00:06:03.640 00:06:03.650 now what I found the works great for
00:06:06.410 00:06:06.420 taking those two ten millimeter nuts off
00:06:08.300 00:06:08.310 that are both here in there is a ten
00:06:10.970 00:06:10.980 millimeter ratchet wrench and get right
00:06:13.520 00:06:13.530 down on there break it loose you can get
00:06:16.610 00:06:16.620 them loose enough to where I can get
00:06:17.570 00:06:17.580 them off the rest away by hand that's
00:06:21.620 00:06:21.630 the first one right there
00:06:23.030 00:06:23.040 now I can move over to the second one
00:06:27.879 00:06:27.889 then I'll know that the brackets on this
00:06:30.260 00:06:30.270 side are unbolted from the intake and
00:06:33.879 00:06:33.889 what's going to help so that you can get
00:06:36.290 00:06:36.300 to the two notes and that studded bolt
00:06:38.150 00:06:38.160 that holds the bracket on the back and
00:06:39.560 00:06:39.570 intake is to go ahead and start taking
00:06:41.330 00:06:41.340 everything electrical and all the vacuum
00:06:43.580 00:06:43.590 and rubber lines off the throttle body
00:06:45.350 00:06:45.360 in the upper intake once you get those
00:06:47.510 00:06:47.520 out of the way you've got a little more
00:06:49.100 00:06:49.110 room to see everything and to get to
00:06:50.690 00:06:50.700 everything so that's what we'll move on
00:06:52.460 00:06:52.470 to next we'll go ahead and get some of
00:06:53.780 00:06:53.790 these electrical connectors disconnected
00:06:55.610 00:06:55.620 and pull the rubber hoses off now in
00:06:58.879 00:06:58.889 order to release the connector for the
00:07:00.470 00:07:00.480 electronic throttle body we've got a
00:07:02.540 00:07:02.550 release this connected right here and
00:07:04.490 00:07:04.500 it's got a two-stage lock on it the gray
00:07:07.370 00:07:07.380 portion right here is going to slide
00:07:08.480 00:07:08.490 back once we slide it back like so if
00:07:12.440 00:07:12.450 you need to use something like this flat
00:07:13.670 00:07:13.680 tip screwdriver to help you so be it
00:07:16.090 00:07:16.100 once you release that then you can
00:07:18.650 00:07:18.660 actually squeeze down on it and slide
00:07:20.930 00:07:20.940 the connector off and we just take the
00:07:23.719 00:07:23.729 catch right here that position to
00:07:25.580 00:07:25.590 harness right here pull that off as well
00:07:29.770 00:07:29.780 located directly behind the electronic
00:07:32.060 00:07:32.070 throttle body is a sensor net sensor is
00:07:34.490 00:07:34.500 the map sensor it's got a gray colored
00:07:37.160 00:07:37.170 connector on this particular vehicle of
00:07:39.140 00:07:39.150 a red secondary lock now in order
00:07:41.390 00:07:41.400 release that you're going to slide the
00:07:43.460 00:07:43.470 red portion back use whatever tool you
00:07:46.400 00:07:46.410 need usually sometimes you get it with
00:07:48.020 00:07:48.030 your fingers sometimes if it's been on
00:07:49.730 00:07:49.740 for a while you're going to have to use
00:07:51.380 00:07:51.390 something like flat tip screwdriver
00:07:53.210 00:07:53.220 once that secondary lock is slid back
00:07:55.670 00:07:55.680 you can squeeze in on the gray connector
00:07:57.760 00:07:57.770 release it now if that map sensor
00:08:01.310 00:08:01.320 disconnected we need to pull up on the
00:08:03.110 00:08:03.120 wire we don't need a wire attached to
00:08:05.030 00:08:05.040 the upper intake we'll be pulling it off
00:08:06.820 00:08:06.830 so plastic / metal fastener right here
00:08:10.580 00:08:10.590 that grabs on one of the ribs right here
00:08:12.410 00:08:12.420 and kind of guides the wiring that's
00:08:14.420 00:08:14.430 what we just released and pull it off
00:08:16.900 00:08:16.910 now we'll move on to the vacuum hose
00:08:19.940 00:08:19.950 right here I'm using nothing more than a
00:08:22.340 00:08:22.350 pair of needle nosed and break it loose
00:08:25.010 00:08:25.020 and work it up and off and the intake
00:08:30.680 00:08:30.690 has two more rubber hoses we need to get
00:08:32.630 00:08:32.640 off we've got one right here that leads
00:08:34.670 00:08:34.680 over to the brake booster and we've got
00:08:36.710 00:08:36.720 one right here that goes from the intake
00:08:38.900 00:08:38.910 down to the PCV valve so these two right
00:08:41.840 00:08:41.850 here you'd be taking off will kind of do
00:08:44.120 00:08:44.130 the same thing we did with this hose
00:08:45.620 00:08:45.630 right here a pair of needlenose see if
00:08:47.960 00:08:47.970 we can break it loose by rotating it and
00:08:49.640 00:08:49.650 then pry it off
00:09:02.340 00:09:02.350 this one off now we'll move over to the
00:09:05.470 00:09:05.480 back one for that piece of Evo
00:09:15.090 00:09:15.100 there you have it PCV valve hoses now
00:09:17.920 00:09:17.930 off the intake if you look right here
00:09:20.769 00:09:20.779 you see me pointing to two ten
00:09:23.740 00:09:23.750 millimeter nuts that's two of them that
00:09:25.749 00:09:25.759 we need to take off for the bracket 13
00:09:28.449 00:09:28.459 millimeters studded bolt will be further
00:09:30.309 00:09:30.319 down in there we'll work on getting to
00:09:32.290 00:09:32.300 those if you really need a little room
00:09:34.210 00:09:34.220 you actually take this wiring harness
00:09:35.559 00:09:35.569 off the bracket it's fastened or routed
00:09:39.280 00:09:39.290 there one of those plastic Christmas
00:09:41.379 00:09:41.389 trees type fasteners take it where
00:09:45.160 00:09:45.170 you've got a little more room get to
00:09:47.350 00:09:47.360 everything now we'll move that into
00:10:00.519 00:10:00.529 showing you where that 13 millimeter
00:10:02.019 00:10:02.029 stuttered bolt is now this is where I
00:10:04.960 00:10:04.970 just took off those two 10 millimeter
00:10:06.490 00:10:06.500 nuts and this is the bracket that we're
00:10:08.980 00:10:08.990 working on if you look right here you'll
00:10:11.290 00:10:11.300 see that there's a wiring harness that
00:10:13.809 00:10:13.819 wiring harness has a plastic guide right
00:10:15.939 00:10:15.949 here and that guide slides over that 13
00:10:19.059 00:10:19.069 millimeter studded bolt and the reason
00:10:21.550 00:10:21.560 why I studied is so that that guide has
00:10:23.620 00:10:23.630 somewhere to attach and keeps the wiring
00:10:25.509 00:10:25.519 harness from rubbing up against things
00:10:26.949 00:10:26.959 it doesn't need to come in contact with
00:10:28.569 00:10:28.579 so what I've got to do is I've got a
00:10:30.249 00:10:30.259 slide that guide off that 13 millimeter
00:10:32.980 00:10:32.990 studded bolts and then I get access to
00:10:35.740 00:10:35.750 it start backing it all the way off take
00:10:37.900 00:10:37.910 the bolt off and then the bracket can be
00:10:39.970 00:10:39.980 pulled out of the way there where the
00:10:41.620 00:10:41.630 studs that come through the intake right
00:10:43.449 00:10:43.459 here that those 10 millimeter nuts were
00:10:45.129 00:10:45.139 holding on we're no longer be going
00:10:47.559 00:10:47.569 through the bracket and then I can start
00:10:48.999 00:10:49.009 working on I'm bolting the intake and
00:10:51.040 00:10:51.050 taking it off so like I said we'll go
00:10:52.870 00:10:52.880 ahead and start using whatever we need
00:10:54.340 00:10:54.350 to pry bar on you don't knows whatever
00:10:56.650 00:10:56.660 it takes to pry that wiring harness off
00:11:00.100 00:11:00.110 that stud of 13 takes you some long
00:11:03.819 00:11:03.829 needle nose and get down in there
00:11:05.410 00:11:05.420 between the bolt and the plastic start
00:11:08.769 00:11:08.779 prying on it
00:11:09.960 00:11:09.970 those starts releasing there you have it
00:11:13.670 00:11:13.680 and now I can get down to this stud
00:11:15.960 00:11:15.970 right here like I said it's a 13
00:11:17.850 00:11:17.860 millimeter now the upper intake is
00:11:21.780 00:11:21.790 bolted to the lower intake with a total
00:11:23.639 00:11:23.649 of 7 8 millimeter bolts now what I
00:11:27.059 00:11:27.069 recommend using is a quarter inch 8
00:11:29.309 00:11:29.319 millimeter because you don't have a lot
00:11:31.110 00:11:31.120 of room in some of these places in your
00:11:32.610 00:11:32.620 3/8 8 millimeters usually going to be
00:11:34.860 00:11:34.870 too wide I've got it attached to a
00:11:36.689 00:11:36.699 cordless impact let's go and go down do
00:11:43.079 00:11:43.089 each one until we have them all back
00:11:51.780 00:11:51.790 doll so now at this point we have nut
00:11:55.889 00:11:55.899 and electrical no rubber hoses no bolts
00:11:58.110 00:11:58.120 no brackets hoe down plate we do have
00:12:00.540 00:12:00.550 two studs over here with the to 10
00:12:02.189 00:12:02.199 millimeters went through the brackets so
00:12:03.900 00:12:03.910 what we're going to do is we're going to
00:12:04.740 00:12:04.750 pick up and come out the right side
00:12:08.720 00:12:08.730 there you have it look right here you'll
00:12:12.900 00:12:12.910 see the two studs that I was telling you
00:12:14.519 00:12:14.529 about and the two brackets that they go
00:12:16.679 00:12:16.689 through and when we go back with them
00:12:18.509 00:12:18.519 we're going to do this we're going to
00:12:19.860 00:12:19.870 line up those studs through the brackets
00:12:22.769 00:12:22.779 we're going to lower it down in place
00:12:24.240 00:12:24.250 make sure we slide them in there because
00:12:26.460 00:12:26.470 we only took one bracket off when you
00:12:28.019 00:12:28.029 let those two in place now that we've
00:12:32.040 00:12:32.050 got that upper intake out of the way
00:12:33.600 00:12:33.610 what we need to do is remove this foam
00:12:35.370 00:12:35.380 pad from the left side cylinder head
00:12:37.439 00:12:37.449 that way we got more access to the bolts
00:12:39.990 00:12:40.000 for the lower intake and also to the
00:12:42.569 00:12:42.579 electrical connectors as well for the
00:12:44.129 00:12:44.139 injectors and also for getting it out of
00:12:46.170 00:12:46.180 the way by unplugging the coals as well
00:12:48.889 00:12:48.899 so now the upper end takes out of the
00:12:51.179 00:12:51.189 way what I recommend doing is grab them
00:12:53.370 00:12:53.380 some rags and shoving them down the
00:12:55.679 00:12:55.689 ports of the lower intake that way while
00:12:59.819 00:12:59.829 we're working on it we don't drop
00:13:01.350 00:13:01.360 anything down in there now eventually
00:13:03.780 00:13:03.790 this will be coming up and off but for
00:13:06.240 00:13:06.250 now what we're going to do is we're
00:13:07.650 00:13:07.660 going to cover the ports now what I want
00:13:09.660 00:13:09.670 to start doing is I want to start
00:13:10.590 00:13:10.600 disconnecting all the electrical
00:13:12.120 00:13:12.130 harnesses up here all the coal packs as
00:13:15.449 00:13:15.459 well as the injectors and then I'm going
00:13:17.550 00:13:17.560 to disconnect the harnesses where they
00:13:19.110 00:13:19.120 attach to the valve cover and I'm going
00:13:20.699 00:13:20.709 to pull them out of the way main reason
00:13:22.799 00:13:22.809 why is I
00:13:23.269 00:13:23.279 want to get to the bolts around the
00:13:25.340 00:13:25.350 perimeter of the lower intake so next
00:13:27.980 00:13:27.990 what we do is we move on unplugging the
00:13:29.720 00:13:29.730 cold packs
00:13:40.320 00:13:40.330 now in order to get to the injector
00:13:42.600 00:13:42.610 connectors down here between the intake
00:13:44.640 00:13:44.650 and the valve covers what I recommend
00:13:46.200 00:13:46.210 doing is going ahead and actually
00:13:47.870 00:13:47.880 unfastening the harnesses from the valve
00:13:51.120 00:13:51.130 cover all I'm going to be using is some
00:13:54.030 00:13:54.040 metal door panel removal tools to try to
00:13:57.510 00:13:57.520 get in here between the plastic
00:13:58.950 00:13:58.960 fasteners in the valve cover now have no
00:14:03.870 00:14:03.880 fear if some of these break coming off
00:14:05.880 00:14:05.890 your okay some things have been on here
00:14:08.430 00:14:08.440 a long time and they do not want to
00:14:10.230 00:14:10.240 release it's just the nature of the
00:14:12.990 00:14:13.000 beast just take your time and try to do
00:14:16.110 00:14:16.120 it the best you can once you start
00:14:20.310 00:14:20.320 getting them off move on to the next one
00:14:22.650 00:14:22.660 and then you'll have more room to get
00:14:24.780 00:14:24.790 down in here to the connector releases
00:14:27.570 00:14:27.580 or the injectors
00:14:40.379 00:14:40.389 now the connector for the injector has a
00:14:42.850 00:14:42.860 two-stage vlog that red piece right here
00:14:45.460 00:14:45.470 needs to be pulled upward by using
00:14:48.519 00:14:48.529 whatever tool you can then when you
00:14:50.739 00:14:50.749 squeeze in on the main connector and
00:14:52.749 00:14:52.759 pull it off like I said that's the red
00:14:55.749 00:14:55.759 piece that you need to pull up then you
00:14:57.819 00:14:57.829 can squeeze in right here right below it
00:14:59.769 00:14:59.779 that releases the primary lock and just
00:15:02.049 00:15:02.059 pull straight out go ahead and repeat
00:15:04.299 00:15:04.309 that on the other six
00:15:06.840 00:15:06.850 so now you can just go around and
00:15:08.520 00:15:08.530 release the rest of the connectors for
00:15:09.900 00:15:09.910 the injectors once you get them all
00:15:12.750 00:15:12.760 fully released we'll go ahead and pull
00:15:14.730 00:15:14.740 the harness out of the way
00:15:19.260 00:15:19.270 now right before we go ahead and start
00:15:21.240 00:15:21.250 unbolting intake if you've got access to
00:15:23.490 00:15:23.500 compressed air what I like for you to do
00:15:25.139 00:15:25.149 is actually blow around the perimeter
00:15:26.550 00:15:26.560 that way of any kind of leaves dust dirt
00:15:29.070 00:15:29.080 anything it's accumulator right there
00:15:30.600 00:15:30.610 once we pick up the intake isn't have a
00:15:33.000 00:15:33.010 tendency to fall down into the ports on
00:15:35.010 00:15:35.020 the cylinder heads
00:15:50.830 00:15:50.840 you
