00:07:01.31000:07:01.320 the customer was going around with a 00:07:02.99000:07:03.000 weed whacker and didn't even notice that 00:07:04.55000:07:04.560 he had chopped his thermostat wire in 00:07:06.50000:07:06.510 half so of course nothing was working 00:07:08.02900:07:08.039 but anyways do investigate your 00:07:09.74000:07:09.750 thermostat wires outside and inside for 00:07:11.99000:07:12.000 any kind of damages and reason number 5 00:07:14.18000:07:14.190 is a bad 5 00:07:15.58000:07:15.590 delay board now my unit does not have 00:07:18.10000:07:18.110 that on here so I can't show you it but 00:07:20.62000:07:20.630 it's just a little either a black box or 00:07:22.84000:07:22.850 a little control board at your outside 00:07:24.90900:07:24.919 unit basically what that does is prevent 00:07:27.55000:07:27.560 your AC unit from short cycling like if 00:07:30.19000:07:30.200 you have a power outage or something 00:07:31.39000:07:31.400 like that your AC unit if it turns off 00:07:33.97000:07:33.980 that thing will prevent it from turning 00:07:35.44000:07:35.450 right back on right away or if 00:07:37.06000:07:37.070 somebody's playing with 00:08:08.11000:08:08.120 reason number six is a bad control board 00:08:11.05000:08:11.060 in the furnace or your air handler or 00:08:13.24000:08:13.250 maybe it's a fan relay 00:08:53.38000:08:53.390 brown wire that has the red and the 00:08:55.32900:08:55.339 white wire put your meter leads on the 00:08:57.46000:08:57.470 red and the white if it has 27 volts 00:08:59.71000:08:59.720 coming out that means whatever is 00:09:01.78000:09:01.790 interrupting your power the low voltage 00:09:03.49000:09:03.500 is going to be outside if you don't have need to 00:12:05.10000:12:05.110 replace that high pressure switch and 00:12:06.66000:12:06.670 you'll be good to go 00:12:07.86000:12:07.870 but anyway I'm spending a little too 00:12:09.24000:12:09.250 much time in the pressure switches those 00:12:10.98000:12:10.990 tend to be a little bit more complicated 00:12:12.81000:12:12.820 you might be better off calling a tech 00:12:22.26000:12:22.270 that it's pretty easy all you got to do 00:12:23.73000:12:23.740 is set your meter to voltage and put 00:12:26.19000:12:26.200 your muna leads on either end of the 00:12:27.57000:12:27.580 contactor coil where that yellow wire 00:12:29.28000:12:29.290 and blue wire came in and mine and see 00:12:31.65000:12:31.660 if you have 27 volts there if there's 00:12:33.57000:12:33.580 voltage going to the contactor 00:12:35.25000:12:35.260 yep that little plunger is not pulling 00:12:37.19900:12:37.209 in that means you have a bad contactor 00:12:39.12000:12:39.130 coil you could also disconnect the wires 00:12:40.92000:12:40.930 and check for resistance if it's a while 00:12:42.90000:12:42.910 it's bad as well and another thing I 00:12:44.85000:12:44.860 should mention especially if you are 00:12:46.26000:12:46.270 down south in like Texas and Arizona 00:12:47.94000:12:47.950 make sure you check if your contact your 00:12:50.67000:12:50.680 contacts have any bugs or ants inside of 00:12:53.79000:12:53.800 them because they could be preventing 00:12:55.14000:12:55.150 that plunger from pulling it and reason 00:12:57.42000:12:57.430 number 10 and the final reason is a bad 00:12:59.55000:12:59.560 transformer not a lot of air 00:13:01.59000:13:01.600 conditioners will have a transformer or 00:13:03.84000:13:03.850 at least in Minnesota they don't I don't 00:13:05.22000:13:05.230 know maybe some other states have a lot 00:13:06.63000:13:06.640 of them but if your unit has a 00:13:08.25000:13:08.260 transformer there's a chance that that's 00:13:10.05000:13:10.060 bad as well and that's what's causing 00:13:11.57900:13:11.589 that so check if your Transformers bad 00:13:13.47000:13:13.480 you would just have to look up a video 00:13:14.69900:13:14.709 on how to mount a transformer and their 00:13:17.43000:13:17.440 resistance and just see if you have the 00:13:18.93000:13:18.940 right readings if you have o/l or open 00:13:21.24000:13:21.250 line instead of a reading well then you 00:13:23.10000:13:23.110 know for sure that your transformer is 00:13:24.60000:13:24.610 bad but if you have a burnt-out 00:13:26.13000:13:26.140 transformer make sure you replace your 00:13:28.59000:13:28.600 contactor first because your contactor
